About me

I am a mother of two children and four step children and grandchildren who I adore. They are my world and I would do anything for them. This involved fighting many battles on their behalf and helping them win!

I love anything creative. I love playing the drums, guitar, bass guitar and the saxophone. I write and produce my own songs too. I use music as an outlet and most evenings I help others use this as a tool too. I picked up photography during lockdown when we couldn’t go out much. I walked around my local park and discovered I loved taking photos of nature, the waters and the ever-changing sky. This has to be done between 5 and 7am.

I love trainers, buying trainers, looking at trainers online and making sure I have trainers to match and colour coordinate with my clothes.

I am a very energetic person; some people would describe me as hyper, but I do know how to relax too (sometimes). I can feel a bit overwhelmed in crowded places and I don’t like the sound wrapping foil makes or someone shaking ice in a glass. I don’t maintain eye contact very well. I find it awkward.

I am passionate about supporting people especially young people and families. I am a problem solver who does not like to see things without a solution. Sometimes that might mean creating solution. I love seeing people find their purpose and enjoy being who they are meant to be without restrictions or fear.

About me

Travelling the world is my love language, I have home educated 3 out of my 4 my children and shown them many wonders of the world. Where there is sun and seas, if I can get there, that’s where you will find me. I work hard but I play harder. I love listening to music and partying at concerts and wine bars.

I love shoes, trainers and big hoop earrings that I can twirl around. I have dry but great sense of humour. Laughter helps me get through the day whether it is joyous or hysteria.

I am not a massive fan of cooking, although I am good at it but I love eating and trying new foods from around the world but not with lots of chilli. I love a good Roti washed down with an ice cold Supermalt. Hospitality is something I have enjoyed for many years. I love how people round to share food and great stories.

I care for people deeply and I have been told that this shows in everything I do. If it is not great it is not acceptable. I can be a little hard on myself too but it’s a journey and I’m working on it.

I am passionate about working with families and young people and impacting lives for a brighter future. I think it is important that everyone feels safe to be themselves.

Combined, Jessica and I have over 50 years of experience working with children and families in various capacities within education, support services, wellness support, residential homes, supported living, charities, consultancy businesses and wrap around care.
